What is the Crop Walk?
Neighbors and friends walking together to raise money to combat hunger.

Who sponsors the CROP walks?
Global humanitarian agency Church World Service, www.churchworldservice.org, sponsors the CROP walks which occur in cities and towns across the United Stares and are organized by individuals and faith communities.

Twenty-five percent of the money raised is kept in the local community and benefits the San Francisco Food Bank: www.sffb.org and the San Francisco Interfaith Council Winter Shelter Program: www.sf-interfaith.org.

Seventy-five percent benefits Church World Service the sponsoring organization in charge of providing a broad range of poverty fighting projects in some 80 countries.
